in confusion

{somewhere unknown, someone is crying their heart out tonight.
knowing that no one can hear them,
knowing that no other human heart will
ever know of their pain.

and i feel for them.
i ache for them.}

then again...if loneliness was never felt on this earth,
would one turn to God in confusion, for companionship?
For assurance and comfort and peace?

i think not.


i am then.grateful. for.this.loneliness. this.emptiness.
please come fill me with awareness of your presence, Lord Jesus.
'cause i need you. i need you desperately tonight.
